Man arrested after streets sealed off in Hagersville

A man has been arrested after a police investigation that closed several roads in Hagersville on Friday. Haldimand OPP said the man taken into custody “without incident” around 3 p.m. OPP, including the tactical and rescue unit and emergency response team were at an address on Howard Street in Hagersville, starting around 5 a.m., in an investigation that started earlier with an unspecified incident on Six Nations. OPP spokesperson Const. Ed Sanchuk said police arrested the man at the Howard Street address, but deferred to Six Nations police for information about the earlier incident. Six Nations police spokesperson said it was an ongoing investigation.
